Prohibition is not only our requirement, it is also our responsibility. Intimate us about illegal activities in state of Gujarat.

Good luck!
That's ridicules that few like you are in favor of lifting ban on liquor€¦€¦€¦..
If we are able to see low crime rates other then other states because we have also anti prohibition law.
If women are seen on street at 12 midnight without any male protector because of we have anti prohibition law.
Check other state where rickshaw driver earn 100 rupee and spent 30 rupee on liquor just because he think this is the perfect medicine against stress but he don't think to do batter hard work, I seen on Delhi street that bicycle rickshaw driver earn 30 rupee a day and spent 20 on THARRA because he is in stress that he is not able to earn more and not able to send money to his village, we don't want to see all this in our state just because few upper class what to enjoy evening or just want to make batter deal in there business?
State prosperity is not maser on how much investment came from abroad or how many 5star hotel we have but just check the data that we have more individual self employ then any other state, even we are in first 5 state that get good investment without any problem against anti prohibition law.
Please see all this from the eye of common man, we have more then 50% population who are un educated, we have more then 50% population who are not able to feed there children 2 times a day these are the problem we have to solve.
Are you saying liquor is not currently available in Gujarat? Scotch, Tharra, Vodka - for any class and any pocket, its already available, the only difference is that its profits go to the underworld rather than the Govt., who can use it for more productive purposes, perhaps even for education against alcohol consumption!
I have a simple question for you - would you rather have the profits of liquor sales go to the likes of Latif and Dawood Ibrahim or to the state? If you say neither, your argument is baseless. And post with your name, not anonymously.

comes, ironically, from Gandhi's Dandi March (also called Salt March) 75 years ago, which protested the salt laws of the British rule in India. Gandhi, who also said that you have the duty to disobey unjust laws, was the chief proponent of an alcohol-free India. One of our objectives is to make a case that the context under which Gandhi instituted prohibition is not valid today. Today, alcohol prohibition in Gujarat is an outdated, corruption and crime breeding, short sighted law which must be systematically removed. Keeping up with Bapu's spirit, the Maltmarch community plans to march to the Sachivalay and have a drink in defiance of the prohibition law (date undecided).
